Redskins Redskins and Bryan Hooks Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, QB Bryan Hooks was cut by the Redskins today after 1 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Rob Stanley read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach was not available for comment.
