Lions Lions and Alex Anzalone Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, ROLB Alex Anzalone was cut by the Lions today after 9 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Rodany Mendez read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach was not available for comment.
