Falcons Falcons and Darnell Mooney Part Ways

 In a salary cap move, WR Darnell Mooney was cut by the Falcons today after 6 years in the league.

A statement from the GM Tommy Collins read, "He's just too old to compete at a high level. This move was necessary."

Coach was not available for comment.
